About the job

You will play a critical role in expanding the footprint across the foodservice sector, working closely with manufacturing partners and customers to deliver growth.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including national wholesalers, buying groups, restaurant chains and manufacturers.
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth with existing and new customers.
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners to effectively manage all aspects of business including commercial negotiations, tender submissions, new product development, logistics and stock planning.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting.
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners and customers.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within foodservice or FMCG is vital together with a strong track record of managing and growing chilled and/or frozen food categories.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the UK foodservice market, including traditional wholesale, QSR, restaurant chains and contract caterers.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and proven ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated, with the ability to operate across several different categories.
  • Ideally you will have an established network within foodservice buying groups and national accounts plus understanding of category trends within frozen and chilled convenience, ingredients, or prepared foods.
