You will play a critical role in expanding the footprint across the foodservice sector, working closely with manufacturing partners and customers to deliver growth.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including national wholesalers, buying groups, restaurant chains and manufacturers.
- Identify new opportunities for business growth with existing and new customers.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to effectively manage all aspects of business including commercial negotiations, tender submissions, new product development, logistics and stock planning.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting.
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners and customers.
About You
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within foodservice or FMCG is vital together with a strong track record of managing and growing chilled and/or frozen food categories.
- In‑depth knowledge of the UK foodservice market, including traditional wholesale, QSR, restaurant chains and contract caterers.
- Excellent commercial acumen and proven ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly self‑motivated, with the ability to operate across several different categories.
- Ideally you will have an established network within foodservice buying groups and national accounts plus understanding of category trends within frozen and chilled convenience, ingredients, or prepared foods.
