Representing their partners in the UK market and operating as a dedicated UK office to provide the support, resources and knowledge required to establish and build long-term successful business.

About the job

You will play a critical role in expanding their footprint across the foodservice sector, working closely with manufacturing partners and customers to deliver growth.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including national wholesalers, buying groups, restaurant chains and manufacturers.
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth with existing and new customers.
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners to effectively manage all aspects of business including commercial negotiations, tender submissions, new product development, logistics and stock planning.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with manufacturing partners and customers.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within foodservice or FMCG is vital together with a strong track record of managing and growing chilled and/or frozen food categories.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK foodservice market, including traditional wholesale, QSR, restaurant chains and contract caterers.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and proven ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate across several different categories.
  • Ideally you will have an established network within foodservice buying groups and national accounts plus understanding of category trends within frozen and chilled convenience, ingredients, or prepared foods.

The Commercial Manager’s job (ref:9066) is paying £45,000 - £55,000 according to your experience. This is a Monday to Friday office-based role but with an element of being hybrid. The site is in Leicester and is commutable from Leicester, Wigston, Loughborough, Coalville, Market Harborough and surrounding areas.

The package includes a bonus based on personal performance, car allowance, and pension scheme.
