About the Commercial Assistant job

You will play a key supporting role helping to manage internal processes and data integrity plus have direct customer interaction.

It will therefore be a blend of administrative, commercial, and customer-facing responsibilities.

  • Key tasks
  • Management of commercial contracts, loading sales agreements into internal systems accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and track customer forecasts versus actual.
  • Coordinate customer sample requests with NPD and warehouse, ensuring timely despatch and tracking.
  • Analyse customer activity to identify potential problem areas in which to improve margins and / or operational efficiency.
  • Proactively support sales in preparing and updating customer pricing, volumes, and product data.

About You

Experience working with customers in a commercial or sales environment is a must. In addition:

  • SAP / Reflex experience.
  • Good admin, IT and sales administration skills.
  • You must have good customer facing skills.
  • Friendly, tenacious, organised, able to multitask and prioritise.

The Commercial Assistant job is based in Essex and is paying £28,000 - £32,000 according to your experience.

This is a Monday to Friday office hours role – 40 hours per week.

This role is commutable from Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Witham, Tiptree, Kelvedon and Hatfield Pevere.
