Summary
Do you have experience of providing sales contract management expertise within a fast-paced retail environment? This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading multinational consumer electronics and software company, in managing daily activities across large volumes of sales and related contracts for the business with a ‘right first time’ approach in a fast-paced environment.
The project needs a consultant who:
- has proven contract management experience
- is organised, methodical and has impressive attention to detail
- has an inquisitive and proactive nature, can operate calmly and at pace in a high-volume environment.
You must be able to operate with minimal guidance and supervision and take responsibility for driving the pace and quality of your work.
Key Services
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- Handling to completion daily contract operations requests submitted by various stakeholders (mostly contract development, sales, legal, finance, and sales support teams).
- Periodic tracking and reporting on key contract rollouts to ensure consistency completion.
- Running projects to develop and document contract operations processes for the EMEIA region.
- Maintaining a central operational project/activity status dashboard.
- Providing day-to-day operating information to the wider Contract Operations team (in countries and in Central teams). This includes a future view (what is coming) as well as execution instructions.
- Working with Contract Managers and Business stakeholders to document new contractual solutions (e.g., instructions, manuals, training materials, process/procedures).
- Developing some operational contractual solutions (e.g., communication emails/letters) or working on data gathering for the development of certain contractual solutions.
- Supporting wider system enhancement projects and document inventory and data management projects in relation to contract operations.
- Overseeing and organising the set of contracts and manage the contracts portal.
- Helping to prioritise team activities and drive resolution of issues/dependencies across all relevant areas.
Mandatory Requirements
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- 3+ years’ experience working in a professional legal environment.
