Do you have experience of providing operations migration management expertise, on a complex investment operations, data, accounting and reporting migration programme?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client in migrating and modernising investment operations, data management, accounting and reporting processes from legacy environments to a new target operating model and supporting platforms. The role will lead migration activity across discovery, planning, execution, cutover and post-migration support while minimising operational risk and business disruption.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- strong experience managing large-scale operational and data migrations
- end-to-end migration expertise spanning planning, execution, cutover and hypercare
- strong programme delivery, governance and risk management capability
- credibility coordinating business, technology, vendors and senior stakeholders.
Key Services
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- define the migration strategy, roadmap, delivery approach and migration waves
- develop integrated migration plans, schedules and resource requirements
- coordinate migration activity across business, application, infrastructure, security and support teams
- manage migration risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and mitigation actions
- oversee migration assessments, technical approaches, testing and validation activities
- coordinate business readiness, communications and transition planning
- lead cutover planning, go-live execution and hypercare activities
- manage transition to operational support and monitor post-migration service stability
- maintain migration governance, reporting, KPIs, documentation and audit trails.
Mandatory Requirements
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- proven experience managing large-scale migration programmes
- experience delivering migrations across complex business and technical environments
- strong migration planning, cutover and post-migration management capability
- expertise in programme governance, risk, issue and dependency management
- strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- experience coordinating vendors and third-party suppliers
- experience within Financial Services industry.
Optional Requirements
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience within investment management or investment operations environments
- experience migrating investment operations, data, accounting or reporting processes
- experience delivering migrations using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
