Do you have experience of providing technical project management on a data archiving and migration project? This consulting opportunity is to support our financial services client in delivering a strategic data archiving capability while coordinating technical migration activities for a large-scale transformation programme. The role spans leadership of the data archiving workstream alongside coordination of technical migration activities across internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- technical project management experience across data delivery initiatives
- experience in data archiving or data migration projects
- stakeholder engagement experience at steering committee and senior business level
- coordinated technical delivery teams and third-party suppliers
Key services:
- leading the data archiving workstream and a small team of Business Analysts
- defining the scope for a strategic archive solution through assessment of the legacy data estate
- coordinating archive extraction, ingestion and business user access with internal and third-party teams
- supporting technical migration activities across surrounding systems and downstream data cascades
- coordinating technical migration testing, rehearsals and delivery team readiness
- supporting business case development and reporting project status and key decisions to governance forums
Mandatory Requirements:
- technical project management experience delivering data-focused projects
- experience of data archiving or data migration initiatives
- leadership of cross-functional technical delivery teams
- coordination of multiple internal teams and third-party suppliers
- strong stakeholder management with senior business and technical audiences
