The predicted salary is between 70000 - 85000 Β£ per year.
Do you have experience of providing PMO governance, planning, reporting and financial management expertise, on a complex, multi-workstream regulatory review project? This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading financial services regulatory organisation, in delivering the Claims Management Practices Review to address poor practices in the claims management market and improve consumer outcomes. The consultant will provide PMO support and light-touch project management across multiple workstreams.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- substantial experience as the sole PMO on complex, multi-workstream projects
- strong programme governance, planning, reporting and control expertise
- advanced budget management, forecasting and variance analysis capability
- confident stakeholder engagement across working-level and senior governance groups
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- defining and maintaining the integrated delivery plan, milestones, decision points and stage gates
- driving delivery discipline across workstreams, dependencies, blockers and escalation routes
- controlling risks, issues, actions, dependencies, decisions and financial forecasts
- coordinating governance meetings, agendas, minutes, actions and reporting packs
- managing budgets, resource forecasts, accruals, actual spend and variance analysis
- producing RAG reporting, board papers and evidence of delivery against milestones
- maintaining document control, version control and configuration management
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- proven sole-PMO experience delivering the full suite of PMO services
- integrated planning capability across multiple workstreams and dependencies
- strong governance pack, board paper, agenda, minute and RAG reporting experience
- detailed RAID, decision, action and document control capability
- budget, resource, forecast, accrual and financial reporting experience
- analytical ability to identify delivery trends, risks, slippage and corrective actions
- advanced use of Microsoft Office and project reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Clarity or Clarizen
- recognised project or programme management certification
- successful completion of standard background checks
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience of regulatory change projects or programmes
- knowledge of claims management, consumer finance, market studies or regulatory reviews
- experience supporting public consultations, policy development or consumer-focused initiatives
- experience working within the client organisation
- capability to coach colleagues in project delivery frameworks and behaviours
Working Pattern: Hybrid: 50% in Central London client office
