We are hiring a Market Making Trader to help run and grow our quoting on centralised exchanges. You will manage automated market making strategies, monitor risk and inventory in real time, and work with quants and developers to improve pricing, execution and profitability. This is a high impact role at the cutting edge of digital asset trading.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and optimise the strategies used to make markets on crypto exchangesResponsible for the PL of team and individual strategiesDevelop and improve the models and strategies using quantitative methodsCollaborate with Quant Dev and Research during the full lifecycle of alpha and signals development and deploymentConduct research and data analysis on bespoke trading dataStrategy and tradingRun automated market making strategies on centralised exchangesSet and adjust quoting parameters such as spreads, sizes, skew and inventory limits in response to volatility, liquidity and flowSpot new opportunities: listings, new venues, instruments and fee or rebate programmes.Risk and monitoringMonitor positions, inventory, exposures and margin across venues in real time, and hedge where neededSupport disciplined intra-day risk management and reportingResearch and improvementAnalyse fill quality, adverse selection, queue position and markouts to improve strategy performanceCollaborate with quants and developers on new features, pricing models and latency improvements; test and roll them out safelyEvaluate venue economics, including fee tiers, maker rebates, liquidity programmes and API limitsRequired Skills and experience:University degree in a numerical degree, with strong grades3+ years as a market maker or systematic/electronic trader, in crypto or traditional marketsStrong grasp of market microstructure: order books, queue dynamics, adverse selection, latency and feesGood knowledge of perpetual futures, funding rates, basis and margin mechanicsSolid programming and data skills, ideally Python and SQL, for analysis and toolingHands-on experience running automated quoting strategies and tuning their parametersEntrepreneurial mind set and a natural intuition for risk, pricing, and how crypto markets functionAbility to work in a fast-paced fluid environment at the cutting edge of trading and technology within the industryExcellent teamwork and clear communication skills and ability to express ideasCalm, quick decision-making under pressure, with sound risk disciplineWilling to work flexible hours as part of a 24/7 coverage modelWhat we offer:An amazing global culture, who are ambitious, innovative and fun while working with the highest levels of honesty and integrity.Two discretionary bonus awards a year.A range of benefits in line with local market practice.Regular fun events and activities, as well as Social Impact volunteering days.
