Role – Junior Planner aka Production Planner, Production Coordinator
Location – Middlesbrough / North Yorks Area
Salary – c. 26K
As a Planner, you will be part of the operations team and report to the Supply Chain Manager. Your focus will be to assist the Production Planner in producing, maintaining, and managing the production schedule to meet customer and business requirements. You will support the smooth day-to-day functioning of manufacturing activities.
Full training will be provided. Our client promotes internal development and progression.
The role
- Coordinating production schedules across several product lines
- Handling ERP work orders to ensure accurate planning via MRP
- Liaising with internal teams to prevent and resolve delays
- Supporting data accuracy and continuous improvement projects
- Communicating clearly on delivery dates and order status
- Sending timely sales acknowledgements to customers
- Producing performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly KPIs)
- Taking on planning admin tasks and supporting the wider ops team
