Do you have a passion for Data protection and Data Privacy and a desire to have influence in a growing Insurance business? Fancy working in a role that gives you the chance to work from home with the occasional office visit a couple of times a year? Are you on a journey within data protection and looking to progress your career further in this area? If yes, great because that is exactly the opportunity this company will give you. As the go to expert for all things data protection, you will work closely with the GDPO and wider company to ensure compliance and security across the board.
Role: Data Protection Specialist aka Data Protection Analyst, Data Protection Coordinator, DPO, Data Protection Officer, Data Governance Analyst, Data Privacy etc.
Salary: up to £42,500 base + Great benefits!
Benefits: 24 days holiday, 5% employer pension, Life Insurance, 2 paid charity days per year etc.
Location: Work from home – with a visit to the office in Hertfordshire expected a couple of times a year, however, feel free to come in as much as you like if you want to.
We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge of UK GDPR compliance, the Data Protection Act, and data governance practices. You will be a confident communicator, able to balance legal, operational, and customer needs effectively. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in documentation formatting and accurate record keeping, is essential. A data protection certification such as CIPP, CIPT etc would be a strong advantage.
