Role Description
The Business Development Executive will work on-site in Newcastle Upon Tyne in a full-time capacity, building and maintaining relationships with employer partners and identifying new business opportunities.
Day-to-day tasks include generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, and presenting B-Skill’s training and apprenticeship solutions to prospective and existing clients.
The role involves conducting meetings and calls with stakeholders, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
The Business Development Executive will also monitor market trends, provide feedback to support continuous improvement, and maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes.
Success in this role will be measured by growth in new accounts, retention of existing partners, and contribution to overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with experience building and managing a robust pipeline of employer partners.
- Candidates should possess strong Business and Account Management skills, including the ability to understand client needs and align solutions with strategic objectives.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting solutions, negotiating agreements, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Experience in the training, apprenticeship, or education sector is beneficial, along with knowledge of employer-led workforce development.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales or business development targets is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on-site.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and basic office software (e. g., Microsoft Office) is advantageous.
