We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and personalised tuition sessions, fostering a positive learning environment. Duties
- Deliver customised GCSE Maths tuition to students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Prepare lesson plans, exercises, and revision materials aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Create a motivating and supportive atmosphere that encourages student confidence and participation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and areas requiring further attention.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
- Stay updated with current GCSE Maths syllabus changes and best teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE Maths or equivalent levels.
- Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) and inclusive teaching strategies is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting student success.
- A recognised qualification in Mathematics or Education is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates with relevant experience.
