What You’ll Be Doing

As a Private Client Solicitor, you’ll take on a varied and engaging caseload, working with clients to provide tailored legal solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a high‑quality caseload – advising on wills, probate, estate planning, inheritance disputes, tax planning, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, elder law, and contentious probate.
• Client‑centred approach – meeting clients face‑to‑face and virtually to deliver strategic, personalised advice with compassion and expertise.
• Ensuring compliance and best practice – upholding Lexcel and SRA standards, meticulous file management and risk assessments.
• Building and expanding client relationships – actively seeking new business opportunities through seminars, presentations, networking and cross‑selling.
• Staying at the forefront of legal developments – ongoing professional development to stay ahead in private client law.
• Supporting a high‑performing team – collaborating with colleagues to drive success and innovation in the department.

What We’re Looking For

• Private Client Solicitors (1 PQE to Senior Associate) with proven expertise in wills, probate, estate planning, tax and trusts, ideally gained in a leading or well‑regarded firm.
• Client‑centred with outstanding communication skills – ability to build trusted relationships and provide clear, empathetic and pragmatic advice.
• Commercially astute and growth‑oriented – ability to identify opportunities, cultivate new business and contribute to the firm’s success.
• Meticulous and highly organised – capable of managing a varied and complex caseload with efficiency and precision.
• Ambitious and forward‑thinking – seeking a long‑term career path within a top‑tier practice with progression support.
