We are seeking a compassionate and strategic Head of People to lead our people strategy. Support and develop our teams, and help ensure outstanding, person-centred care across our homes.
Rate of Pay: Up to £75,000
Contract Type: Full Time
Contract Hours: 37.5 hours

We're looking for a compassionate and strategic Head of People to help nurture, support and develop the teams who make a real difference in residents' lives every day. To ensure our residents receive the very best person-centred care, we focus on recruiting and retaining caring, committed and responsive staff. In this senior leadership role, you'll shape a people strategy rooted in our values of Connection, Compassion and Commitment. You'll lead HR operations, employee relations, recruitment and culture, ensuring colleagues feel valued, heard and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
You’ll manage the HR Team and work closely with senior leaders to build a positive, inclusive culture where people can thrive, balancing strong values with practical, compliant people practices in a regulated care environment.
About you:
- An experienced senior People/HR leader who leads with empathy and integrity
- Passionate about creating supportive, values-driven workplaces
- Confident navigating employment law while keeping people at the centre of decisions
- CIPD Level 5 minimum qualification
- Previous experience of working in a Care environment
- An understanding of Right to Work & Sponsorship
- Effective communication with all levels of staff, including drafting professional emails and letters
- A positive leader and role model who leads by example
- Ability to manage yourself and the HR Team to achieve objectives
- Ability to work under pressure and to be flexible within the role
- Business minded with a professional attitude to work at all times
- To hold a full UK driving licence
- To travel to homes within the organisation
