We are looking for a passionate proactive Registered Manager who has experience of working with clients who have Autism and Learning Disabilities.

Location: Colchester (must be willing to travel throughout Essex)

You will play a key role in setting up one support service for a person who has complex behaviour, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support. You will lead and inspire staff, maintain excellent standards of care, and work closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who already has previously held a Registration in social care and who is willing to register with CQC within 6 months of joining us. Duties:

  • Leading and supporting staff teams to deliver exceptional care
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and organisational policies
  • Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding
  • Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and external professionals
  • Supporting service development and contributing to strategic planning
  • Preparing for and transitioning into the Registered Manager role

Skills:

  • Previous CQC Registration
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards
  • A confident, compassionate leader with excellent communication skills
  • Someone ambitious, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Level 3 Health
