We are looking for a friendly, positive and active Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his own home and community in the Hatfield Peverel area. The gentleman is diagnosed with Autism, Learning Difficulties and ADHD. This young man has access to his own mobility vehicle and loves to access the community, with a special interest in researching ancestry, so a clean, full UK drivers licence is essential!
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 15:00/10:00 - 16:00
Salary: £13.15 per hour
About the Role: This is a supportive and companionship-focused role with no personal care requirements. Support is required to access meaningful activities in the community.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting with community activities such as visiting the Essex Register Officer
- Providing companionship and encouragement
- Providing guidance and support when out and about

- A cheerful, positive and active personality
- Someone like-minded who enjoys ancestry and being actively involved within the community
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Reliable, supportive and respectful of independence
- Experience of supporting individuals with Autism
