Lead a service that puts people first. We are seeking a committed, experienced CQC Registered Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will be legally responsible for the services leadership, compliance, and quality, driving continuous improvement to achieve and maintain a Good or Outstanding CQC rating.

What you will be doing:

  • Register and maintain CQC registration and act as the primary contact with CQC, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead inspections, audits, action plans, and ongoing improvement activity.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are current, compliant, and embedded in practice.
  • Provide visible, values-based leadership; recruit, supervise, appraise, and develop staff.
  • Manage safe staffing levels and effective rotas.
  • Oversee person-centred care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, and dignity-focused practice.
  • Monitor performance through audits, KPIs, feedback and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Investigate incidents, complaints, and accidents; take decisive, proportionate action.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain your own professional development and up-to-date CQC knowledge.

Who we are looking for:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in social care.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and people-management skills with the ability to role-model best practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine commitment to promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect for people we support.
