Lead a service that puts people first. We are seeking a committed, experienced CQC Registered Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will be legally responsible for the services leadership, compliance, and quality, driving continuous improvement to achieve and maintain a Good or Outstanding CQC rating.
What you will be doing:
- Register and maintain CQC registration and act as the primary contact with CQC, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Lead inspections, audits, action plans, and ongoing improvement activity.
- Ensure policies and procedures are current, compliant, and embedded in practice.
- Provide visible, values-based leadership; recruit, supervise, appraise, and develop staff.
- Manage safe staffing levels and effective rotas.
- Oversee person-centred care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, and dignity-focused practice.
- Monitor performance through audits, KPIs, feedback and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and accidents; take decisive, proportionate action.
- Manage budgets, resources, and accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain your own professional development and up-to-date CQC knowledge.
Who we are looking for:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in social care.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.
- Proven leadership and people-management skills with the ability to role-model best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine commitment to promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect for people we support.
