- Despatch experience preferred but not essential.
- A good eye for detail due to picking multiple products from various stations to fulfil orders.
- Good level of communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be dealing with paperwork and all written documents have to be legible.
- Must be flexible within working environments; the role requires working in all weathers to load pallets and couriers.
- Fork lift truck license is essential.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Packing products within the factory.
- Stacking boxes onto pallets outside in the loading bay.
- Picking products from various stations.
- Order picking by part number from a sales order/parts list.
- Checking part numbers and counting parts into boxes.
- Packing parts in boxes.
- Weighing boxes and checking dimensions.
- Labelling boxes.
- Loading couriers.
- Parts can be long and heavy, so there will be continuous heavy lifting.
