We are looking for two PM Shift Team Leaders with a variable shift pattern from 1.00pm to 4.30am.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The B&S Distribution Team Leader is responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse picking, packing, and distribution activities to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products. This role ensures adherence to GDP, safety, and quality standards, while leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership
    • Lead, supervise, and coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch activities
    • Allocate daily workloads and manage shift planning to meet distribution targets
    • Ensure accurate order fulfillment in line with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Compliance & Quality (GDP)
    • Ensure strict adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
    • Maintain proper handling of temperature-sensitive, controlled, and hazardous pharmaceutical products
    • Ensure accurate batch, expiry date, and serialization controls
    • Support audits, inspections, and CAPA implementation
  • Inventory & Systems
    • Oversee picking accuracy using WMS/Kisoft systems
    • Conduct and support cycle counts and stock reconciliations
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, and shortages
    • Ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance
  • Team Management & Training
    • Conduct onboarding and continuous GMP/GDP training
    • Monitor performance, attendance, and compliance behaviour
    • Enforce SOPs, safety rules, and company policies
  • Health, Safety & Environment
    • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
    • Promote a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment
    • Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
    • Participate in Lean, 5S, or operational excellence initiatives

Experience

  • 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role

  • Strong knowledge of GDP principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Leadership and people management skills
