The Role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead growth for B.fresh foods. Reporting directly into the CEO you will own the customer journey for the B.fresh brand - marketing to online, retail and trade customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver marketing performance aligned to revenue, volume, and brand growth targets
  • Work in close collaboration with the Commercial team on retail customer initiatives
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns aligned to seasonal produce cycles, peak demand periods, and promotional calendars
  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects current stock availability, freshness, and operational capacity
  • Drive demand generation through digital channels including paid media, SEO, social media, email marketing, and partnerships
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, and Operations to align marketing campaigns with product availability, harvest cycles, and fulfilment capacity
  • Monitor key metrics including retention rate, churn, LTV, and campaign ROI
  • Manage the marketing budget to maximise return on investment and efficiency of spend
  • Report on key KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy across brand, digital, CRM, and customer experience
  • Lead the development of compelling campaigns that highlight freshness, quality, provenance, and seasonality
  • Oversee content creation including recipes, product storytelling, sourcing narratives, and nutritional messaging to engage customers
  • Own the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through to retention and loyalty
  • Develop and optimise subscription marketing strategies, including onboarding, engagement, and retention journeys
  • Lead initiatives to increase repeat purchase, basket size, and customer lifetime value
  • Collaborate with Growing, Innovation, and NPD teams to successfully launch new products and seasonal lines
  • Ensure marketing plans are flexible and responsive to fluctuations in supply, quality, and demand
  • Analyse customer behaviour, buying patterns, and food trends to inform campaigns and product positioning
  • Use data to continuously optimise marketing activity, improving conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Manage agency and partner relationships where applicable
  • Define and evolve the B.fresh brand positioning, ensuring strong differentiation in the fresh food and direct-to-consumer market
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a high-performance and creative culture
