We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle repairs, service and maintenance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and ensuring that vehicles are in optimal working condition. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and mechanical condition of our customer vehicles, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Carry out MOT tests to the highest standard.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as servicing, oil changes, tyre changes and brake inspections.
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance work.
  • Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
