Meetings & Events Floor Supervisor

Salary: £35,000 plus share of tronc

Location: Sir Devonshire Square Hotel, City of LondonWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, typically across 5 shifts between Monday and Sunday. Flexibility for additional hours may be required.

Welcome to Sir Devonshire Square – a bold, beautiful boutique hotel just steps from Liverpool Street Station. We are the first UK hotel from Sircle Collection, the Dutch lifestyle brand known for turning up the charm in Europe’s coolest neighbourhoods.

We’re now looking for a Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor who will be the first point of contact for all functions within the hotel, working alongside our sales and F&B teams, to ensure that every event exceeds guest expectations.

Your role as Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor:

• Leading Meetings & Events operations during service
• Managing, motivating and developing a team of supervisors and waiters
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, organisers, suppliers and vendors during events
• Ensuring all event requirements are delivered accurately and on time
• Coordinating closely with kitchen and operational teams to ensure smooth execution
• Creating memorable guest experiences and resolving issues professionally
• Coaching and developing colleagues through training, feedback and support
• Identifying opportunities to improve service standards, efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Managing procurement requirements through Birchstreet
• Maintaining the highest levels of health, safety and compliance standards

What we are looking for…

• We're seeking an engaging and inspiring leader who is passionate about luxury hospitality and exceptional service
• Experience managing events, banqueting or food & beverage operations within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Experience working with high-profile guests, clients and event organisers
• The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
