This role requires the successful person to work 3 days in London per week.

Commvault is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will primarily be responsible for opportunity generation and pipeline development. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top‑line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What you’ll do:

  • Sourcing new sales prospects to generate curiosity about Commvault products
  • Proficient in using modern social prospecting techniques such as LinkedIn and video prospecting
  • Getting in touch with leads gathered and cultivated by the Marketing Team to BANT qualify opportunities
  • Work in a fast‑paced team while remaining focused on individual goals and milestones
  • Connect with customers and prospects through inbound and outbound calling, inbound chat, and email to position Commvault solutions and identify and develop opportunities for Sales
  • Daily tasks include outbound dialling to marketing responders and target prospects and customers, probing for active projects that align to Commvault solutions, evoking curiosity about data solutions, qualify and disqualify potential customers, and apply value propositions to specific customer scenarios and types
  • Target 60+ dials per day
  • Develop close relationship with sales counterparts who you will be supporting

Who you are:

  • 2 or more years similar/related experience
  • 1 or more year(s) outstanding sales attainment in a quota‑driven, high‑demand environment
  • IT sales or B2B SaaS experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and telephone presence to a professional level
  • Strong understanding of business and finance
  • Self‑motivated, accountable approach combined with strong sense of team collaboration
  • Affinity for technology
  • SFDC and SalesLoft/Outreach experience preferred
  • Degree or equivalent experience preferred

How we’re working:

As we continue to embrace the flexibility of both remote and in‑office work, we expect the successful applicant to be working out of our central London Office at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and attend off‑site meetings, events, as and when is necessary.
