Are you excited by the potential of AI to change how people think, learn and engage? Do you have a passion for creating experiences that feel intuitive, polished and memorable? Can you combine strong visual design, UI/UX thinking and storytelling to make complex ideas easier to understand? Do you care about the detail of how an experience looks, feels and flows? Do you want to help shape one of Salesforce's most distinctive AI customer environments?

If you answered yes to all these questions, then consider this unique role at one of the world's most trusted and innovative technology companies. In this design‐led role, you'll help shape the AI Centre visitor experience, creating the visual systems, digital interactions and reusable assets that bring the Centre to life.

The UKI AI Centre is a purpose‐built environment designed to help customers experience, understand and apply AI in a meaningful way. It brings together immersive storytelling, interactive activations, digital experiences and high‐impact moments that make the potential of trusted enterprise AI tangible.

We are a specialist team within pre‐sales, focused on inspiring, exciting and educating customers through experiences that go beyond a traditional meeting, presentation or demo. The Centre is designed to help visitors explore what AI can mean for their business, understand how Salesforce can help them move forward, and engage with technology in a way that feels practical, memorable and human.

We create reusable experiences, assets and activations that support customer conversations at scale. From digital interfaces and interactive journeys to visual storytelling and physical experience moments, our role is to make the AI Centre feel joined‐up, engaging and distinctive.

We are looking for a senior experience designer with a passion for creating memorable, intuitive and well‐crafted visitor experiences. In this role, you'll help shape how visitors see, feel, navigate and interact with the AI Centre. You'll work across spatial, digital and visual elements, creating an experience system that makes AI feel clear, relevant and engaging.

You will design visitor‐facing experiences that can be used across a wide range of AI Centre visits. This includes interactive digital activations, touchscreen experiences, visual storytelling assets, environmental moments, navigation concepts and the look and feel of the Centre's digital interfaces.

Working as part of the AI Centre team, you'll partner across experience strategy, engagement strategy, engineering and programme leadership to turn ideas into polished, reusable experiences. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, translate complex AI concepts into clear interactions, and ensure that every visitor‐facing asset feels purposeful, consistent and carefully considered.

While this is not primarily a developer/coder role, you will need to be comfortable working closely with engineers and technical specialists to turn design concepts into working digital and interactive experiences. This is a fast‐paced, creative role where design thinking meets practical execution. The goal is to continually raise the standard of the Centre experience, creating a visitor journey that feels as considered, memorable and well‐executed as the best executive briefing centres, innovation spaces, flagship retail and exhibition environments. Every experience should help us inspire, excite and educate visitors through thoughtful design, clear storytelling and high‐quality execution.

You want to make a difference by designing experiences that help people see, understand and engage with AI in new ways. You care deeply about how an experience looks, feels and flows, and you know how to turn complex ideas into clear, useful and memorable moments.

  • Experience Designer: You think end‐to‐end, considering how visitors move through a space, interact with content and connect with the story being told.
  • Visual Storyteller: You use design, layout, hierarchy, motion, imagery and tone to make complex ideas feel clear and engaging.
  • UI/UX Thinker: You understand how to design digital interfaces, interaction patterns and user journeys that feel simple, polished and purposeful.
  • Creative Problem Solver: You can turn ambiguity into structure, bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions to design challenges.
  • Connector & Collaborator: You work well across disciplines, partnering with strategists, engineers, programme leads and subject matter experts to create joined‐up experiences.
  • Quality Champion: You have a high bar for detail and consistency, making sure every visitor‐facing asset feels considered and well executed.

You will also have a strong sense of curiosity and a passion for how AI, design and storytelling can come together to create meaningful experiences. Be comfortable moving between big‐picture experience design and detailed UI/UX decisions. Enjoy creating visual systems, digital interactions and design patterns that feel polished, intuitive and consistent. Be confident taking ownership of ambiguous briefs, shaping them into clear design direction, practical next steps and high‐quality outcomes. Be self‐motivated, organised and comfortable managing your own work without close supervision, bringing clarity and momentum to multiple design priorities across the Centre. Use your experience and judgement to make sensible day‐to‐day design decisions, knowing when to move forward independently and when to bring others in. Be able to collaborate closely with technical and non‐technical colleagues, helping ideas move from concept to delivery. Be proactive and entrepreneurial, always looking for ways to improve the visitor experience and raise the quality of what we create.

You are interested in how AI can be made tangible and engaging through thoughtful experience design. Designing journeys that combine physical space, digital interaction and visual storytelling. Creating interfaces, activations and visual assets that help people explore complex ideas in simple, intuitive ways. Building design systems that bring consistency across multiple touchpoints. Working at the intersection of creativity, technology and customer engagement. Taking ideas from early concept through to polished, scalable experiences. Being part of a specialist team that is shaping one of Salesforce's most distinctive AI environments.

Your values include showing up with curiosity, authenticity and a strong sense of ethics. Designing with purpose, creating experiences that help visitors understand and engage with AI in meaningful ways. Caring deeply about craft, consistency and the details that make an experience feel considered. Bringing structure, clarity and momentum to ambiguous issues and early‐stage concepts. Fostering a culture of collaboration, sharing knowledge, feedback and best practice with the team. Balancing creativity with practicality, understanding what can be delivered and how to make it successful. Cultivating trusted relationships with peers and stakeholders, treating everyone with respect and equality.

Required experience/skills include significant experience in experience design, UI/UX design, service design, product design, interaction design, visual design or a related creative discipline. Proven ability to design end‐to‐end experiences across physical environments, digital interfaces and visual content. Strong portfolio of work showing high‐quality UI/UX, visual design, interaction design and user‐centred thinking. Experience creating design systems, visual languages, templates or interaction patterns that improve consistency across touchpoints. Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive and engaging experiences. Strong understanding of user journeys, information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility and usability principles. Experience taking ideas from ambiguous briefs through to concepts, prototypes, designs and delivered experiences. Confident using modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non‐technical stakeholders. Self‐motivated and organised, with the judgement and seniority to manage your own work, make sensible day‐to‐day decisions and knowing when to elevate or seek input. Comfortable collaborating with engineers, strategists, programme leads and subject matter experts to bring ideas to life. Interest in AI, emerging technology and how design can make complex concepts more understandable and engaging.

Preferred experience/skills include experience designing for interactive environments, innovation centres, executive briefing centres, experience centres, exhibitions, museums, retail spaces or other visitor‐facing environments. Experience designing touchscreen interfaces, kiosk experiences, interactive installations or large‐format digital displays. Familiarity with motion design, animation, video, spatial design or environmental graphics. Experience working with AI, CRM, data, enterprise technology or other complex B2B technology concepts. Experience collaborating with technical teams to move designs from concept into working digital products or interactive experiences. Understanding of Salesforce, Agentforce, Data 360 or the broader Salesforce platform would be beneficial, but is not essential. Experience creating assets that can be reused, adapted and scaled across different contexts.

Measures of success include visitors experiencing the AI Centre as a joined‐up, polished and intentionally designed environment. Digital and interactive experiences being easy to use, visually strong and aligned with the Centre's purpose. Activations and visitor‐facing assets feeling consistent, useful and ready to support a wide range of visits. Early ideas being shaped into clear design concepts, practical direction and deliverable outcomes. The team benefiting from stronger design systems, templates and patterns that improve consistency and speed. Stakeholders seeing the role as a trusted design partner who brings creativity, clarity and sound judgement. The Centre experience continuing to improve through thoughtful iteration, feedback and experimentation.
