Our Clinical Homecare Nursing team really love what they do! Working in partnership with our NHS colleagues to provide individualized quality nursing care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition and other IV therapies in their home. Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse who is seeking a new challenge and looking to take the next step in your nursing career? This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to enhance professional growth whilst developing existing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed IV therapies and associated care and support to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
  • Provide training, education and support to patients and carers with regards to the equipment and infusion devices required for infusion/administration of therapies to independence.
  • Participate on the on‑call rota, make autonomous decisions to resolve out‑of‑hours queries and escalated to the senior on‑call if required.
  • Work with the Practice Development Nurse and Regional Lead Nurse in discharge management including pre‑discharge assessment visits and home assessments, following relevant processes to provide a seamless service.
