We are recruiting for a Stores Person to join our team in Sheffield. Our Stores team are responsible for packing finished products produced in the Production Unit for shipment and assist in maintaining correct stock levels of raw materials. You will receive full training and continuous support to help you succeed! This role involves working within a sterile manufacturing facility where quality, safety, and attention to detail are essential.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week, onsite.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.
Your main responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and Health & Safety requirements at all times.
- Prepare and pack finished products for dispatch to customers.
- Produce shipping documents, labels and courier bookings.
- Transfer finished products to couriers and support the receipt of incoming products.
- Use SAP and other systems to support product and stock management activities.
- Maintain stock levels through stock checks, rotation and storage management.
- Move products and materials safely between storage areas, including cold rooms.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and promote a professional image of B. Braun at all times.
What you need to succeed:
- GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and internet-based systems.
- Good numerical and literacy skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and use initiative to manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to lift and handle goods safely following training.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in a busy environment.
