Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre in Sheffield on Tuesday 28th April. This is a full‑day commitment, and you will be required to be available for the entire day.

About you

Whether you’re completing a 12‑month placement as part of your studies or looking to progress your early HR career, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop. You may be working towards or have recently completed a qualification in HR, Psychology or a related field, and may have already gained some experience from an entry‑level HR or recruitment role.

About the Internship

Our internship programme offers you the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our TA team and hiring managers across the business, supporting real recruitment activity and contributing to meaningful projects. Throughout your internship, you’ll be involved in a variety of Talent Acquisition areas - from coordinating recruitment processes to supporting onboarding, early careers initiatives, and employer branding activities. You’ll help deliver a positive candidate experience and gain valuable insight into how we attract, assess and hire great talent.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment activity, including CV screening, shortlisting, interview scheduling, attending interviews and supporting candidate feedback.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, timelines and candidate communication.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support onboarding activities including pre‑employment checks, preparing onboarding materials and support with HR inductions.
  • Assist with early‑careers programmes, including internships, apprenticeships, work experience, and outreach to schools, colleges and universities.
  • Help create content for employer branding, recruitment marketing and early‑careers communications.
  • Contribute to TA projects, reporting, dashboards and digital initiatives.
