Your Role: We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work as part of our Homecare Pharmacy team. You will support the formulation, dispensing, checking, and supply of medicines for patients receiving treatment at home. You’ll also work closely with pharmacists, prescribers and colleagues across B. Braun to help ensure patients experience a seamless transition from hospital to home while receiving the highest standards of care.
Working hours: 37.5, onsite, Monday – Friday Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting pharmacists with the dispensing and checking of prescriptions and medicinal products for homecare patients.
- Setting up and checking Homecare Parental Nutrition (PN), Transcare and Avitum prescriptions, liaising with prescribers where appropriate.
- Create and maintaining patient prescription profiles and supporting formulation stability processes.
- Managing prescription-related queries and providing excellent support to healthcare professionals, patients and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting in continuous improvement.
- Ensuring all activities are completed in line with GPhC standards, company procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and service demands.
- Strong organisational skills, able to follow up and resolve ongoing queries, ensuring outstanding actions are seen through to completion.
