Your Role

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services and making a real impact on patient care?

Join our dynamic TransCare team as a Service Support Coordinator, where your work directly contributes to patient outcomes, operational efficiency and sales performance.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for scheduling nursing resources across multiple care models. You will manage real-time changes to operational plans, ensuring efficient use of nursing staff and compliance with contractual requirements.

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hybrid: Office and home working. A minimum of 3 days a week working in our Head Office. Employees are able to utilise our office facilities more should they wish to.

Your main responsibilities

  • Plan, review and manage daily nurse rotas to ensure work patterns meet service needs and support new business growth.
  • Assess new patient referrals by reviewing nursing capacity to plan appropriate training and patient visits.
  • Accountability for an accurate billing process for nursing services and product deliveries in line with NHS contracts and service agreements.
  • Process daily proof of deliveries and support the returns process to make sure delivery records are correctly updated and reflected in system data.
  • Plan and manage patient prescription deliveries, ensuring schedules are accurate, cost-effective, and responsive to changes in patient needs or resources.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in acommercial healthcare or homecare setting(NHS or private).
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience inimplementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Proficient in usingIT systems and databases.
