Your Role:
We are looking for an organised and motivated Homecare Inventory Controller to join our Loans & Consignment team!
In this role, you will be responsible for managing homecare equipment, playing a key part in supporting vital patient services, while communicating with both internal and external customers to provide excellent service and support.
This role would suit someone with a background in warehousing who is looking to take the next step in their career, however full training and continuous support will be given to help you succeed!
Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support and proactively manage activity supporting the Homecare channels.
- Manual handling, visible inspection and cleaning of rotating assets/equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is in good repair and annual servicing is completed; maintain records to support this.
- Co-ordination of logistics for delivery and collection of equipment where applicable.
- Accountable for traceability of relevant inventory/assets, on and off site.
- Prepare management information as required (Including Month End reporting).
What you need to succeed:
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Accurate and methodical in your work and paying close attention to detail.
- Quick to learn and apply new skills.
- Strong computer skills including Excel are desirable, however full training will be provided.
