We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team on a casual basis - flexible shifts available to fit around your schedule!
You will help keep the unit running smoothly by managing stock and supplies, supporting housekeeping tasks, and preparing the clinical area ready for patients attending their dialysis treatment.
Key Details:- Location: Basingstoke Dialysis Unit, Unit 7, The Ringway Centre, Edison Road, Basingstoke, RG21 6YH. Free parking available on site.
- Working hours: Long Day = 06:45 - 18:15. Monday to Saturday. No Sunday or night shifts!
- Provide general assistance to nursing staff with patient care in the treatment room.
- Liaise with transport and other departments in order to arrange appointments.
- Support the unit routine, by escorting patients to the wards, blood specimens and pharmacy errands.
- Monitor and record patients’ weights pre and post dialysis.
- Prepare and serve patients with refreshments.
- Preparation of the clinical area.
- Maintain stocks and supplies within the treatment areas.
- Undertake housekeeping duties.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate empathy and sympathy.
- Be detail focused with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Flexible to cover the needs of the patients/unit.
- Excellent rates of pay: £15 per hour Weekdays & £18 per hour Weekends/ Bank Holidays
