Role Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Medical Sales Specialist to join our Hospital Care team, specialising in Anaesthesia and IV Pharma products. You will take ownership of your territory, working closely with anaesthetists, pharmacy teams, and hospital staff across theatres and emergency departments. You’ll combine commercial acumen with clinical understanding, building strong relationships while driving sales performance and delivering expert product education. This role would suit an experienced medical sales professional, or a clinically trained individual such as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Theatre Nurse looking to transition into a commercial career.

- Location: Field-based role covering North London & East of England, with a preference for candidates located in the Hertfordshire or Essex area
- Working Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibilities
- Drive sales of our portfolio across new and existing hospital customers, building strong relationships with anaesthetists, theatre teams and pharmacy
- Develop and execute effective territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Deliver product training, education and clinical support to customers
- Represent the business at meetings, exhibitions, demonstrations, and workshops
- Stay informed on market trends, clinical developments and competitor activity, maintaining accurate territory records using CRM systems
Qualifications
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, or a clinical background as an ODP or Theatre Nurse looking to transition into a commercial role
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence clinical stakeholders
- A competitive and driven mindset
- A proactive approach to customer education, training and engagement
- Highly organised, with a structured approach to managing a busy territory
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays as required
- Willingness to work towards the ABPI qualification within 2 years
