Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Inventory Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day service supply chain operations and play a key role within our UK Supply Chain Leadership Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee critical healthcare services, ensuring the timely availability of products and equipment that support NHS hospitals and customers across the UK, while driving operational excellence and service performance.

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday Hybrid working
  • Location

Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW, just off Junction 35A of the M1, with free on-site parking available.

  • Your Main Responsibilities
  • Leading, developing and mentoring the Consignments, Loans and Technical Services Supply Chain teams to create a high-performing culture.
  • Supporting and acting as Deputy for the Senior Supply Chain Manager within Service Inventory Operations.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end management of loan kits and demo equipment.
  • Managing consignment inventory across the UK, ensuring compliance, accuracy, audit readiness, and strong customer relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with GDP, Health & Safety, regulatory requirements, and internal audit standards.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, loan fulfilment, returns performance, and service levels.
  • Supporting S&OP activities through analysis of operational risks, service performance, and inventory trends.
  • What You Need To Succeed
  • Proven leadership experience within supply chain, service operations, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong operational management experience within complex inventory environments, preferably in the healthcare sector or another highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret service and inventory data.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality operational outcomes.
  • A customer-focused, proactive and collaborative approach with a drive for developing teams and driving operational excellence.
