We are looking for people to work in our Production Unit to help deliver essential supplies to healthcare customers. Please note, this role involves manual handling, wearing PPE, and following standard operating procedures. Extensive PPE is required and can occasionally exacerbate skin conditions.

Key Details

  • Shift times: Monday to Friday, 07:00‑18:00, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Two Saturdays per year in November/December are required; all bank holidays are worked except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
  • Salary: £24,884 starting, increasing to £26,711 within approximately 12 months upon completion of training modules.

No experience is required – full training will be provided.

Open Day – Wednesday 10th December 2025

You will be invited to attend one of two sessions:

  • Morning: 09:00 – 12:30
  • Afternoon: 13:30 – 17:00

The open day is a chance to meet the team, have a short interview, view our aseptic unit, and participate in a practical exercise relevant to the role.

Location Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A off the M1. Free car parking, transport links, on‑site canteen, and opportunities for career progression and development are provided.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Producing nutrition bags and pre‑filled syringes
  • Moving materials to the relevant production areas
  • Cleaning materials required for production
  • Preparing documents and labels for the products
  • Checking products and materials
  • Packing orders for shipment
  • Basic stock control: storage, rotation, replenishing stock and checking stock levels
  • Following standard work instructions
  • Ensuring operator/environmental plates are stored and incubated correctly at the end of each shift

What You Need To Succeed

  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Pass in Maths and English or ability to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to demonstrate safe manual handling
  • Accurate and methodical
  • Concentration for long periods of time
  • Commitment to Health and Safety procedures
