We are looking for an Aseptic Operator Trainer to deliver a high‑quality training service within aseptic manufacturing, ensuring that all production staff are trained and competent in line with current GMP guidelines. This role involves developing and delivering structured training programmes, assessing operator competency, and supporting continuous improvement in aseptic practices to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are consistently met.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Shift Pattern: Hours between 7am – 6pm (There may be occasional flexibility required to support different shifts when training.)

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured aseptic training programmes to production operators in line with GMP and internal procedures.
  • Assess and maintain operator competency through observation, practical assessments, and documentation.
  • Support the onboarding and induction of new production staff.
  • Identify training gaps and implement improvements to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Provide coaching and ongoing support to operators to reinforce best practice in aseptic manufacturing.
  • Work collaboratively with Production and Quality teams to ensure training aligns with operational requirements.

What you need to succeed:

  • 1 year experience within aseptic manufacturing with demonstrable training responsibility.
  • Proven experience working within a GMP‑regulated aseptic environment.
  • Ability to deliver training clearly and effectively to individuals and groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Confident in assessing competency and providing constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
