We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced nursing leader to join our Transcare team. In this role, you’ll lead and manage nursing operations across your region, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and compliance. You’ll inspire and motivate your team, drive quality initiatives, and support business growth while maintaining a strong patient focus.
Key Details
- Location: Working with trusts and patients in London and the surrounding areas. This role requires you to be based within London.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours over 5 days per week. This is primarily a management position; however, flexibility is key. You may need to carry out patient visits as required by the region and take part in the escalation on-call rota quarterly, which involves weekend availability.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing activities across the region.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, CQC regulations, and clinical governance standards.
- Drive quality improvements and share best practice.
- Manage staff rotas, performance reviews, and competency assessments.
- Support recruitment and resource planning.
- Provide clinical leadership and maintain your own clinical skills through patient visits.
- Respond to complaints and safeguarding issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to promote Transcare services.
What You Need To Succeed
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Minimum 3 years post-registration clinical homecare experience.
- Previous management experience with proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong knowledge of HPN and CVAD management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
