Work Flexibly, Care Exceptionally – Join Our Team as a Casual Nurse! Are you a passionate Nurse with experience in IV Therapy seeking a role that offers both flexibility and the chance to provide high quality patient care? Do you want to be rewarded with excellent rates of pay?
If you are interested, join our Casual Bank. We have flexible shift opportunities in Reading and the surrounding areas for nurses with current NMC Registration and competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies. Working in partnership with NHS colleagues to provide individualised quality nursing care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition and other IV therapies in their home.
As a Casual Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment whilst achieving work-life balance.
Responsibilities- Providing individualised quality patient care to Homecare patients in their home setting.
- Administering prescribed IV therapies and associated care and support to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
- Providing training and education to support patients/carers in the connection and disconnection of Parenteral Nutrition/to use infusion devices and any other prescribed therapies to independence.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies.
- Ability to work alone.
- Ability to make decisions in a clinical emergency situation.
- Current valid driving licence and your own car to travel to patients homes.
- Flexibility to travel and visit patients outside local area.
Monday to Sunday. We work split shifts due to disconnecting the patients in the morning and connecting them in the evening. Therefore, our nurses work 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening with a break in the middle. As a bank nurse, you can choose to work either AM or PM shifts.
In Return You Will Receive- Excellent rates of pay: £30 per hour Weekdays & £35 per hour Weekends/ Bank Holidays
