At Sterilog Pudsey, our decontamination facility plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring that surgical and medical equipment are delivered to hospitals in a clean and surgically safe condition. We are looking for motivated Production Supervisors to lead and manage a team of technicians throughout each shift. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of our production team, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
You will be responsible for coaching and supporting your team, ensuring clear and effective communication, and overseeing performance and absence management.
Key Details- Location: B. Braun Sterilog, Richardshaw Road, Pudsey, LS28 6QW. Free parking available on site.
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Shift times available: Monday β Friday; 2pm β 10pm and 10pm β 6am. Weekend shift: Thursday 6am-2pm; Friday 6am-2pm; Saturday 6am-6pm; Sunday 6am-5:30pm. These are permanent shifts and are not part of a rotating schedule.
- Working within the production team throughout the facility to ensure all turnaround targets are met to 99.5% standard.
- Performance and absence management of team.
- Maintaining the instrumentation in a good and usable condition, undertaking inspection checks throughout the process.
- Reporting any defects affecting the instrumentation in a timely manner.
- Able to support and coach staff in various production areas.
- Responding efficiently to customer needs and liaising with theatres.
- Previous experience of working in a production environment.
- Experience of working in a department that adheres to quality standards and follows procedures.
- Team player with the ability to instruct and inform technicians.
- Strong supervisory abilities, focused on guiding the team and ensuring targets are met.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in using computers and various software and systems.
