Your Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Distribution Operative to join our busy Aseptic Production Unit team! This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including picking, packing, and dispatching goods in a timely and accurate manner.
Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, Working hours between 8am-4pm
Your Main Responsibilities
- Picking and assembly of customer orders using various system methods.
- Receipt and checking in of stock.
- Housekeeping and hygiene duties.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Operating pallet trucks to perform dispatch tasks.
- Compliance with distribution regulatory procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
What You Need To Succeed
- Experience of working within a warehouse/ production unit environemnt environment.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
- Accurate and methodical in your work and paying close attention to detail.
- Committed to Health and Safety procedures.
- A Fork Lift Truck (VNA / Reach) Licence is desirable but not essential.
