We are looking for a motivated and organised Clerical Assistant to join our dedicated team in the Cardiff South Dialysis Unit.
Our Dialysis Unit is a busy and dynamic setting, and we’re looking for someone who can prioritize tasks effectively, stay calm under pressure and help ensure our patients have a smooth experience from the moment they arrive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to contribute to a clinical team in a patient‑focused environment.
Key Details
- Location: Cardiff South Dialysis Unit, Unit 1 Riverside Park, Penarth Road, Cardiff, CF11 8TT. Free parking available on site.
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
- Salary: £24,833 per annum.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Act as a receptionist, dealing with first‑line telephone enquiry.
- Input data onto systems as required e.g. patient activity, clinical results.
- Liaise with transport and other departments, both within the hospital and externally.
- Gather information and prepare standard reports – blood results, inpatient days etc.
- Assist the dialysis unit manager with correspondence.
- Prepare and coordinate the clerical correspondence between the unit Consultant and General Practitioners.
