For our office in London we are seeking an Intern to join our Risk Team (Summer Internship). As an Intern you will:
- Play an active and collaborative role within the risk team and use your analytical and coding skills to help improve risk processes.
- Learn the core principles of risk management and develop a good understanding of oil market behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with general improvement/automation of risk and clearing processes.
- Supporting the migration of price databases to Microsoft Fabric.
- Contributing to the development of market risk tools & models.
- Supporting the risk team with market research and preparing ad-hoc reports upon request.
Required Experience & Background
- Graduate with minimum 2:1 in a maths or science-based degree from a leading university.
- Experience coding in Python is essential, SQL highly preferable and other coding languages welcome.
- As part of their studies the candidate will have worked with large data sets and built models to support their analysis.
- Some work experience in a similar role is preferable but not required.
