The Azzurri Group is one of the UK’s largest and most successful hospitality investment platforms. We operate two leading national Italian full-service brands, Zizzi and ASK Italian, and the UK’s leading quick-service Italian, Coco di Mama. Beyond Italian cuisine, we boast renowned Irish fast casual Mexican restaurant brand Boojum, and most recently the world famous, ‘mind-blowing’ fried chicken brand Dave’s Hot Chicken.
As a group, our purpose is to build better food businesses that sustain happy, healthy lives. At Azzurri, we believe that a diverse and inclusive team is essential to building great relationships and connections, and ultimately a better business.
We’re looking for someone who is excited about building the platform and growing alongside it. Working with our engineering teams, you’ll be accountable for designing great customer experiences across our unified digital dining platform, ensuring ease of use for both customers and team members.
Day to day, this will look like:
- Conceptualising user experiences for new product features and redesigning existing ones.
- Turning feature requirements into user journeys and wireframes into clickable prototypes.
- Building and maintaining the design system.
- Leading our onboarding experimentation.
- Conducting user engagement surveys.
- Contributing to the maintenance of our UX personas.
- Conducting some usability testing and customer interviews.
Design experience in both web and app is required. You will need to build and own a UX strategy that allows the business to make quick and informed decisions, to reduce cost and labour maintaining multiple systems and creating consistency across our products.
Conduct all stages of UX research using the Double Diamond methodologies: identifying, planning, driving, conducting, analysing, and reporting out insights. Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager and engineers on a wide array of research projects. Share research insights in creative ways to increase empathy.
Design new UX prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Suite, to solve the needs of customers and the Azzurri group. Build deep and trusting relationships and create compelling communications with diverse groups of teammates and stakeholders. Run collaborative workshops and discovery sessions that are data led, prepared, and create a compelling environment for stakeholders to contribute that achieve a positive impact.
We have a cool office space in Central London, designed by our in-house creative team. With barista training as part of your induction, a free Coco di Mama breakfast twice a week, free fruit, a variety of cold and hot drinks all day every day, and lunch together every month to stay connected, you’ll see that we are a hospitable bunch.
Your development is key, and we offer apprenticeships, management, and leadership programmes as well as skills and professional development. You can take care of your wellbeing; holidays increase the longer you stay with us, and you will have access to our EAP scheme, eye tests and eyecare savings, and an annual flu jab voucher. There is an annual bonus scheme of up to 10%, and a competitive salary.
