Our Support Worker roles are immensely rewarding and enjoyable and we are looking for kind, compassionate, inspirational and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team at out Newcastle supported living services (NE42 NE45).
Each client has tailored care plans, the main responsibilities of a Support Worker are – personal care (depending on the service) light housework, meal preparation, companionship, supporting with or administering medication, supporting clients to be independent and to achieve their personal goals.

We are looking for staff who enjoy working together to support our clients to have the same life chances and choices as you and I in this world, learning or physical disabilities, and mental health problems, are not limitations.
Responsibilities
- Personal care, light housework, meal preparation, companionship, medication support, and helping clients to achieve independence.
- Supporting clients with social and physical activities such as keeping in touch with family and friends, maintaining hobbies, attending music concerts, supporting trips to sports events, and more.
- Meal planning and preparation with healthy guidance.
- Encouraging independence by providing small assistance to empower clients to complete tasks.
- Maintaining person‑centred support following each client’s care plan.
- Communicating on all levels and advocating for those unable to speak for themselves.
- Assisting with personal choice and control, such as outfit selection, washing, dressing for fun‑filled days.
Pay
