The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Mid-weight Interior Designer with in-depth experience in high-end hospitality fit-outs to join our growing In-House design team to deliver luxury restaurant projects around the globe.

The Mid-weight Interior Designer will work closely with the Lead Designers and Senior Designers to create interior design concepts, FF&E schemes, and technical packages and aid with the delivery of global Azumi projects and CapEx schemes.

This role will be office-based with international travel to various sites as required.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in delivering strong and inspiring concept design presentations including mood-boards, hand sketches, material palettes and sketch up models.
  • Provide unique ideas for the projects.
  • Produce accurate Auto Cad drawings including layout plans, elevations and joinery details.
  • Produce and manage detailed specifications, schedules and reports.
  • Design bespoke furniture, lighting, and (when relevant) custom upholstery.
  • Confidently communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with the Senior and Lead designers to zone and draw layout plans that consider the guest experience.
  • Ensure that each of the restaurant brand’s DNA is applied to all design work

  • Proven experience as a Middle-weight/ Junior designer in a comparable setting, ideally with some experience in the Hospitality / F&B sector
  • A degree or equivalent in Interior Design/Interior Architecture is ideal
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Suite and InDesign
  • A natural team player who is at home working in sync with a team
  • A genuine love for culinary experiences & a passion for Japanese cuisine
  • A naturally friendly, customer-oriented individual who believes in our work of creating memorable dining experiences
