My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy based in Didcot is searching for a Drainage Modeller to join their Flood Risk Management Team.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Drainage Modelling using Infoworks ICM and CSO design and/or Flood Mitigation for sewers.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally to work from the office three times a week.

This exciting Drainage Modelling role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of specialist Engineers and Modellers to assist with Flood Risk, Flood Mitigation, Flood Alleviation, Drainage, Climate Change Projects and Drainage Modelling Projects for European Clients and Clients across the Caribbean.

  • As a Drainage Modeller you will be expected to complete;
  • Drainage Area Planning

-Flood alleviation schemes and flood mitigation for sewers.

-Optioneering and solution development

-CSO design and network design using in house tools.

-Hydraulic modelling for Climate Change Projects, using Infoworks ICM to model the impacts of retrofitting Sustainable Drainage Systems (Su DS) in cities across Europe and the Caribbean.

-Climate resilient planning strategies.

-Analysing and evaluating the impacts of CSO spills and urban runoff discharges.

-Developing drainage design with flood risk and spill risk mitigation.

-Creating AI modelling solutions and tools for the design of Su DS.

You will join a supportive and friendly team, based near Didcot and have the chance to work on UK based and international projects.
