An exciting opportunity has become available with an established and growing IT solutions provider, offering a broad portfolio of technology solutions across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft, networking, hardware, software and managed services.
We’re looking for an experienced New Business Account Manager who is confident hunting for new business, building relationships with senior decision-makers and managing the full sales cycle.
The Role
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Generate opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Sell a broad range of IT solutions and services
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Achieve GP and revenue targets
- Work closely with internal technical and delivery teams
- Develop long-term customer relationships
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in IT sales, ideally within an MSP, VAR or IT reseller
- Strong new business and hunting experience
- Confident cold caller and pipeline builder
- Comfortable selling to senior decision-makers
- Experience selling IT hardware, software and/or services
- Commercially driven with a strong focus on GP and revenue
- An existing customer base/account book is highly desirable
- Experience with accounts ranging from 100–1,000 users would be particularly relevant
- Motivated, ambitious and target-driven
