A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Air Quality Consultant to join a well-established, employee-owned environmental consultancy based in Swindon. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, supportive team of experts working on projects across the UK and internationally. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of sectors including construction, industrial, waste management, planning and local authorities, with hands-on experience in ambient and indoor air quality monitoring, dust and odour assessments, and air dispersion modelling.
The role offers full training and clear progression pathways, with structured development plans to support your journey from Assistant to Associate and beyond. You'll have opportunities to contribute to impactful projects that support public health, environmental protection and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake air dispersion modelling using ADMS Roads and ADMS 5 software.
- Assist in the delivery of air quality, climate change, dust and odour assessments for a variety of clients and projects.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports for planning submissions and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct site visits and monitoring surveys when required, including the deployment and maintenance of monitoring equipment.
- Collect, interpret and analyse environmental and meteorological data.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities where appropriate.
- A degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Chemistry, Meteorology, Geography, or a related discipline.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- Some level of experience / internship working for an Environmental Consultancy.
