I'm currently working with a growing engineering consultancy that is looking to add an Earthing & Lightning Protection Consultant to its expanding team. With a rapidly growing client base, the company delivers projects ranging from 11kV substation assessments through to the design of 400kV power stations, alongside lightning protection schemes for residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with at least 1-2 years' experience in earthing and/or lightning protection design who is looking to develop their career within a specialist consultancy environment.
The Role- Earthing design and analysis using CDEGS software.
- Lightning protection design and risk assessments.
- Technical report writing and client-facing project support.
- Site visits, inspections, and occasional travel to client meetings as required.
- Working alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects across the UK.
- Electrical Engineering Degree or HND.
- Ideally 1-2+ years' experience in earthing and/or lightning protection design.
- Experience using CDEGS and/or lightning protection risk assessment software.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- UK-based with the ability to travel when required.
- Fully remote working.
- £35,000 - £45,000 salary.
